Facial Surgery Reviews@face-review

Facial contouring consultation (ㄹㅂㅇ)

The clinic was quiet and appointment management was well organized, so there wasn't much waiting. (Personally, I don't prefer clinics that are chaotic and crowded, or clinics where the staff chat privately too muchㅠㅠ)

The order was consultant - CT - director - consultant. The consultant was kind and meticulous, took good notes on what I wanted, and passed them on to the director. They also took more CT images than other places, and took them with the angles aligned very well. The director first used the CT photos, second a bone model, and third looked in the mirror with me while touching my face, explaining the surgical method, incision lines, the possible estimated extent of reduction, etc. in detail. Other places said a reduction of 4-5 mm, but here they said 7-8 mm. They said it was possible because the surgical method is different. What was unusual was that when cutting the cheekbone, they make the osteotomy very far back? They said doing it this way creates almost no step-off between the temple-side hair area and the cheekbone, and definitely gives a cheekbone reduction effect when viewed from the front. But they said they proceed with a partial incision rather than a full incision for the anterior cheekbone and do not fixate it; since it is a partial incision, they said the possibility of nonunion is low. (Honestly, I am a bit anxious.) They said doing it with a partial incision causes less damage to the retaining ligaments, so there is less sagging. They seemed very confident in their own surgical method, and when I said I was debating what additional procedures might be good to do, they immediately picked up on the surgical method and how much could be reduced. (I am debating because the jaw surgery method is different from other clinics, but they explained why they don't do a T-osteotomy, and it made sense.)

I also liked that during the second consultation with the consultant, they encouraged questions regardless of time and tried to resolve anything I was curious about. As for aftercare, there is a separate skin center in the basement, so I don't think there is anything to worry about, and follow-up appointments are easy too. The advantage is that even just with a consultation, they give you the director's business card as well, and you can additionally consult directly with the director via KakaoTalk. The downsides are that there is no CCTV, and the price is brutal^^ Cheekbone 1 area: 6.6 million KRW, square jaw + chin: 8.8 million KRW
