Before <before surgery> After <day of surgery> After <day 1> After <day 3> After <day 5> After <day 7> After <day 10> After <day 14> I thought I wouldn’t remember things clearly as time passed, but I remember everything from the day of surgery so, so vividly!! lol On the day of surgery, I went early in the morning, and before going into surgery I had a thorough consultation with the director, heard an explanation about the problems with my nose and how the surgery would proceed, and then we did the design! He asked me to show him any photos of the nose I wanted, so I showed him the photos I had saved one more time, changed into surgical clothes, washed my face, and went into the operating room! I was relieved because the director helped me relax so much ㅠㅠ When the anesthesia started, I didn’t even get to count numbers and just passed out lolololol When I opened my eyes, the surgery was over… After surgery, the director came in, explained the surgical results, and told me with a smile that it went well, so I felt completely reassured!!
On the day of surgery, even with the splint on my nose, I really liked my side profile, so I was happy!! The next day after surgery, I received treatment and had the cotton removed! And on day 7, I went in and had the splint completely removed! When the splint came off, I could see a little bruising, but I bruise really easily… Now at 2 weeks, I don’t have any bruises at all! lol
Before surgery, my nasal tip drooped and my nose looked really long, like a witch nose? But after revision surgery, it looks so, so pretty both from the front and the side, so I’m happy~!! Especially the nasolabial angle is seriously art….!!
Oh, and because I used autologous costal cartilage, I worried a lot about pain, but you know that chilly aching feeling in the ribs when you run really hard..?? It felt about like that lol Walking was no problem, but getting up after lying down was pretty hard ㅠㅠ!! As time passed it kept getting better, and even the day after surgery, I could do everyday activities to the point that I was able to go out for a walk with my dog!! I think everyone using autologous costal cartilage doesn’t need to be too scared of the pain!! hehe
I went to the hospital today and had the autologous costal cartilage stitches removed, and they said if I take good care of the scar now, the scar will hardly show, so that’s a relief relief lol While doing my makeup, I keep looking only at my side profile lol There’s no bruising on my nasal bridge anymore either, and it just feels like my own skin! I even went flower-viewing, and after 2 weeks I’ve completely recovered my daily routine, so I’m so happy, for real!!!
