There are nose photos and a list of places I researched in my previous post, so refer to it if you want. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <Summary for people in a hurry> Low nose with a deeply sunken glabella Silicone for the nasal bridge, septal cartilage + ear cartilage for the nasal tip Front view is the most important 4.80 million KRW (VAT excluded) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. Clinic: ㅇㄹ (ㄴㅁㅎ) -Quiet and not many people -Pink-toned interior, and the inside is on the narrow side -They said it would take 2 hours including waiting, but it took 1 hour total -The consultant was easygoing and friendly
2. Consultation process: fill out chart -> consultant consultation (areas, concerns) -> director consultation (about 30 minutes) -> consultant consultation (additional explanation, cost) 2-1. Consultant consultation -What I want to improve, around when I want surgery -Which previous clinics I went to, which next clinics I’ll go to? When I mentioned a few, they said they were confident they could do it best -Also asked which clinic I had my double eyelid surgery at -They don’t use artificial material in the nasal tip -Your face is small and cute. We’ll keep your image and do it naturally, right? (Yes~)
2-2. Director consultation -First impression: cold city woman... a presence that makes my face turn red and sweat collect on my butt -Personality: showed me a drawing of the bones inside the nose and explained very diligently. Seems extremely, extremely meticulous -Looked almost only from the front, pointed things out with a cotton swab, and consulted in very, very great detail. I also strongly agree with the front-view-centered(?) philosophy.
2-3. Diagnosis and surgery 1) Short nose/upturned nose -The nasal tip needs to be lowered -The columella is short and the cartilage is also curled inward. If this improves, my mouth will close more comfortably too (goosebumps)
2) Low nasal bridge -4.5 mm silicone -The silicone starting point is around the eyelash line -The brow bone (forehead) protrudes, but compared with that, the glabella is too sunken, so very thin silicone also needs to be inserted above the nasal bridge silicone. -They didn’t ask me for photos. Every place I’ve been so far was like that. I think it’s a characteristic of clinics that make it suit the face.
3) Nasal tip -The nasal tip skin is on the firm side -The nasal tip needs to be lowered while being brought forward -Plan to use septal cartilage + ear cartilage. If only one is used, it feels like it wouldn’t be done properly (seems like the type to care about even 1% details, so I think I know what they mean)
4) Nose slightly more deviated than average -The left side of my face protrudes a bit more forward, and my nose deviates to the right -They didn’t recommend deviated nose surgery. Just said it’s like this~
5) Other diagnoses -My face is very small. Especially short in width. The glabella isn’t wide either. The chin is also short. So the midface looks long. Did I know this myself? -> No...?
3. Consultant consultation (#2) -Explained very thoroughly again while sharing their own stories -Any clinic can change the side profile dramatically. But clinics that look at the front view this thoroughly are rare. Emphasized the front view again and again (I agree) -When I said, "They say it’s a difficult nose for a primary surgery?" they said, Not at all? Here, this is an ordinary nose.
3-1. Surgery -Open approach, sedation + local anesthesia surgery -Reason the surgery time is long: preoperative preparation 1 hour, septal cartilage harvesting 1 hour, ear cartilage harvesting 1 hour, carving 1 hour, surgery 2 hours -> total 5 and a half to 6 hours -> so they said they do 1 surgery per day... -Reason cartilage harvesting takes unusually long: if they harvest just a tiny amount, it’s quick. But then the amount isn’t sufficient. -Because they put in a lot of effort and do it very delicately, I think that’s why it takes that long
3-2 Cost (VAT excluded): 4.80 million KRW, 5.28 million KRW including VAT -If I leave reviews at 3 places, twice each (with consent for portrait rights), and pay in cash, 4.40 million KRW -No pressure to pay a deposit
4. Aftercare -Visits so frequent I forgot while listening: day 1, 3, 7, week 1, 2, and was it 3 months? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For now, I like it When they held my nose with the cotton swab, sparks of hope flew in my heart and I got a little excited
