Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

I thought it was just the mentally unstable period after rhinoplasty, but I really ended up with a mental illness

I’m someone who has had rhinoplasty three times. Originally, I had an upturned nose, and the first surgery I had, when I didn’t know anything, turned out so well that I lived fine for a while. But gradually my nose started getting blocked, and it turned out my septum had weakened and I had developed a deviated septum .. And the second surgery was unavoidable because my nose had suffered a major impact. The deviated septum wasn’t fixed, but the shape was decent enough, so I maintained it well and lived like that for 10 years. But at some point, my nose started to look slightly upturned, and I couldn’t breathe properly at all, so I couldn’t sleep well .. Since I could only sleep lying on one side, my shoulder hurt so much too. I made up my mind that I needed rhinoplasty, and I ended up doing it this July ..

Back then, I didn’t even research properly, and once I became fixated on the thought that I needed rhinoplasty, I just kept looking for reviews where the noses looked pretty. Then I just went ahead and had surgery at a place that does functional rhinoplasty and cosmetic rhinoplasty together .. I kept saying again and again that I wanted it to look natural with autologous rib cartilage + silicone .. But after the surgery, when I saw it, it was too high, like a witch nose and Pinocchio .. It was partly my fault for being too ignorant and not researching properly, but my nose itself was also a difficult case.

My original nose was upturned, my nostril wings drooped, and my columella was retracted. On top of that, I needed functional correction too, and it was my third surgery, so I really should have researched thoroughly before going. But the doctor is someone who does the flashy style that’s trendy these days, so my nose ended up with a line that’s neither here nor there .. My nose became too long, and from the side it looks too pointy. My nostrils look like the number 11, and it’s an upturned nose … They said they’ll do an AS revision after 6 months, but when I look at the reviews there, everyone’s nose shape looks exactly like mine, and even if they lower it, I feel like this same vibe will remain, so I’m worried ..

The bigger problem than that is that after rhinoplasty, I’m suffering so much mentally. I didn’t know I would struggle this much either, and normally I’m someone who really likes people and wants to work, but right when I’m supposed to be extremely busy because my shop is opening soon, panic hit me so hard that I got prescribed medication and I’m also taking antidepressants.. When I wake up in the morning, my heart pounds like crazy. I think, how nice would it be if I just didn’t wake up like this .. To the point where I wonder if I’ve ever been this distressed in my life .. I can’t meet anyone and I’m just taking antidepressants. The sense of loss is so huge because my image and face have changed so much. Should I have just lived without being greedy at my age? I regret the choice I made then so much, and I’m desperately praying that my daily life will come back to me ..

Starting next week, the interior work for the shop I already signed the contract for has to begin, and I’m so worried. I hope there aren’t any people here who are struggling as much as I am. And even if there are, let’s absolutely get through this.
