Before Hello!! First of all, I’m so happy that I can leave a review like this. I’ll try to leave an honest review with the sincere hope that it helps those who are thinking a lot about surgery.
I spent almost 20 years only thinking about breast surgery, and then someone told me, “You never know when you might die, so are you going to keep living with regrets? Just do it first. If you keep worrying, you’ll die still worrying,” haha.
After many twists and turns, I decided to have breast surgery, and I thought that if I put it off, I probably wouldn’t do it again, so I started searching right away.
First of all, there are countless ads, right? I’m the type who learns through experience, but with this, I had no experience, so how was I supposed to know which ads were good or real? ㅠㅠ
So I made a list: 1) it had to be a female doctor, 2) it had to be done privately, 3) the hospital had to be clean and well equipped with all the necessary devices. Honestly, price came last for me. I didn’t want to go somewhere that felt like a factory, even if it was a bit cheaper. I searched first and the place I found that I liked the most was this hospital in Seorae Village.
Honestly, I was planning to visit 2 or 3 hospitals. Everyone says to look around at several places, right? But even though this was the first hospital I visited, after consulting with the director, I knew: even if I looked elsewhere, I would have surgery here. Let’s not waste time for no reason.
I paid the deposit right away^^ First of all, the hospital was so~ clean, and the nurses were so kind. If it had felt pushy or salesy, I probably wouldn’t have done it here. The director showed me a simulation, answered all of my very meticulous husband’s questions, and recommended Motiva, so I decided on that. (You can actually try on several and decide.)
Day of surgery_ First, I was really nervous. I even thought things like, “I must not die,” haha. But the director looked so calm that I felt reassured too. After a simple test, I lay down on the operating table, (Oh, and they said they only do one breast surgery per day. That means they truly focus only on me that day, right? I was touched.) And then I woke up. Done_ I moved to the recovery room and just waited until the anesthesia wore off and I could walk properly. What you’re probably most curious about is how painful it is, right? Some reviews said it was really painful, so I was worried, but to describe the level, it was more like: uncomfortable because I was wrapped in a compression bandage. That much. Could I not move my arms at all? No~ not at all.)
I think it depends on who does the surgery and how much incision is made. Mine was a minimal incision of about 2.5 cm.
Around 6 o’clock, I was about to leave the hospital, and my husband was having dinner with our daughter two buildings over, so I said I would go there. They said they would either see me get into the car or meet my husband before leaving, or they would go to the restaurant with me or wait together at the hospital.
They said it was the hospital rule, and that making sure I got home properly was part of their work that day. I was touched ㅠㅠ
The day after surgery_ I went back to the hospital to have the compression bandage checked and to see the surgical result. Thankfully, the surgery was done neatly and well, and my asymmetrical breasts were corrected naturally. Oh, and one thing I had wondered before surgery was when I could go back to work. For me,
I taught classes starting the very next day. There wasn’t much discomfort when grading, though honestly there were some tingling sensations in between. If you don’t move around a lot, I think working the next day would be possible. (About the level of an office job?)
For about a week, sleeping is a bit uncomfortable. I usually sleep curled up like a shrimp, so I wasn’t used to having to sleep straight on my back, and there were occasional tingling sensations.
After 2 to 3 weeks, it definitely becomes more comfortable, and after about a month, it feels like nothing at all. So there isn’t really much to write. My breasts are gradually getting softer, and my satisfaction is going up even more.
After surgery, you can go for care once a week. They provide care that relieves pain and helps the implants settle quickly.
The cost is included in the breast surgery fee, so I don’t think you need to worry about paying extra. I definitely received thorough aftercare.
Oh, the director also does skin procedures. I’ve been going to a dermatologist regularly, and I’m thinking of switching dermatology clinics while I’m at it^^
Anyway, if you’ve decided to have surgery, please make sure to visit this hospital at least once. Highly recommended!!
