I got domestic Botox on my forehead + glabella, and immediately after the procedure, above one eyebrow near the glabella, it swelled up roundly to under 1 cm, looking like a large inflammatory pimple that had formed deep inside.
I asked the doctor who performed the procedure right away, and they said it might disappear after 1-2 hours, or it could bruise, and that bruise could move down toward the eye; I had gotten glabella Botox more than 5 times before, but this was the first time anything like this happenedㅠㅠ Even after a few days, it stayed hard exactly as it was, and when I pressed it, I felt slight pain, so I went back to the clinicㅠㅠ
A different doctor, not the one who performed the procedure, came and checked it, and they said that occasionally during the Botox injection process, the syringe can prick a blood vessel and cause bruising. I asked if maybe during or right after the procedure, without realizing it, I had put tension into that area.. and whether that could have been the cause, but they said no.
No bruise had appeared, but when it had been a week, a yellow bruise came up after I had one drink.. Once I sobered up, the bruise disappeared..
It has been 2 weeks now, and it has gradually gone away, but a very slight hardness remainsㅠㅠ I also feel like the wrinkle-improvement effect is weaker than before..
Before this, I always got Xeomin (imported) for my glabella at a local one-doctor clinic, paying more, and I had no problems and the effect was really strong.
This time I tried to get it cheaply and ended up struggling, so I regret it..
