Hello On March 14, I had revision eye surgery, my first nose surgery, and fat grafting (I put the first review link above). At first, I was only planning to get revision eye surgery, but as I kept searching online, I started noticing so many people who had done eyes, nose, and fat grafting and looked really good. So I started going for in-person consultations, and I went to a total of 3 places.
The first was 12 million to 18 million won The second was 6.2 million to 7 million won The third was 8 million to 9 million won (*The cost changed depending on whether fat grafting included the first and second rounds.)
After the consultations, there was already a place I had in mind, but I could not make up my mind to book and actually have surgery. Even if I had surgery, I did not know whether it would turn out well or not. No matter how good the doctor was, there was no guarantee that complications or a failed surgery would not happen to me, so I thought a lot about whether I should just live as I was or not.
One day, about a month after going around for consultations, I started feeling like time was being wasted. I had already made up my mind to get plastic surgery and change my image, and I thought, at this rate, another year will just pass again. Even then, I was still unsure and kept wondering whether to do it or not, so I booked another consultation at the hospital I had liked. (To be honest, I applied for the consultation there because they said they would give things like pumpkin juice if you left a surgery review on another community.) When I was scheduling the consultation date, the consultant who had counseled me during my first in-person visit called me from the hospital. So I told her I wanted to have a final consultation again for these reasons, and she said rebooking with the same director would cost money. Then while talking with the consultant, I said that I was definitely going to do revision eye surgery + nose surgery, so I wanted to set a surgery date, and that I wanted to consult again that day about whether to do fat grafting or not, and I went ahead and set the surgery date.
On the day of surgery, I consulted again with the consultant and then with the doctor, and I just thought I should do revision eye surgery + nose + fat grafting, so I asked them to do all 3 surgeries and had the surgery.
After surgery, it hurt, but I thought maybe I was the type who handles surgery well. But from the next day, my whole body hurt, so I crept around like a turtle, woke up while sleeping, and so on. Personally, for 2 to 3 days after surgery, the swelling was really severe, so I could not open my eyes, and I asked an acquaintance to take me to the hospital (by subway). At that time, I really relied on my acquaintance and went around with my eyes closed. I would fall asleep on the subway, fall asleep on the bus; I had that little energy. Of course, even during all that, I lived strictly following what the hospital told me to do, such as pumpkin juice, pumpkin porridge, walking, applying eye drops, doing dressings, sleeping with my upper body elevated, and so on. After about 5 to 6 days like that, I slowly became able to manage, and the swelling really went down a lot. That does not mean there was no swelling. But the swelling at the beginning was truly enormous, and I looked like my eyes were about to burst, so people who had seen that would say every time they saw me, wow, your swelling has gone down a lot. Anyway, today, March 29, I went and had the stitches inside my nose and the stitches on my thigh from the fat grafting removed.
Maybe because of the fat grafting, my cheeks still look very much like I had surgery, but today is exactly day 15, and I took pictures every single day for 15 days. The reason is that my face kept changing every day. Seriously! It was fascinating. Not dramatically, but because of the swelling, my eye lines would be uneven one day and then match again, my face would look very pretty and then look like a Gangnam beauty face? It would look like that, then look natural again, then look like a plastic-surgery face, then my old face would show, then it would seem to have changed glamorously again, my nose would look high and then lower, my nostrils were extremely uneven and then matched again, then changed, then matched again. Because of that damn swelling, I took photos every day from the front, right, and left, just in case something had gone wrong...
But around day 15, I do feel like my facial shape has come out to some degree, though swelling really cannot be ignored... Because the lines change due to swelling and all that... Still, I tried not to be too impatient and kept thinking it was swelling while going for walks. (I am really a homebody ㅜㅜ) And for things I was curious about, I first searched and looked things up, even roughly, whenever I could, and when I visited the hospital and saw the director, I asked everything: things I was curious about, uncomfortable with, liked, and was worried about. Personally, since my surgery is not complete yet (because of swelling), I am not 100% there, but I am still satisfied because my previous uneven eyes have been improved. I will write again when I have time!
---------------------------- Currently 2023.04.06 Day 23 after surgery The last photo was taken on April 2 when I went to see flowers. Currently, the swelling has gone down a lot. As time goes by, my original face is gradually coming back, but the uneven eyes that used to be my complex and the volume from the fat grafting have improved, so it is becoming exactly natural yet glamorous. Good good
