Before getting filler, my upper lip was much thinner than my lower lip, and when I smiled my upper lip disappeared. The horizontal width was there, but the vertical height was so thin that it had been bothering me.. People around me kept strongly talking me out of getting filler, so I kept thinking about it, and then I ended up getting it on impulse, but the doctor who treated me really caught what I was worried about and just went ahead with it. I got exactly 1 cc, with a little at the corners of the mouth and slightly along the Cupid's bow area, and a little more on the lower side. Everyone said it would hurt a lot, so I put on a big act and asked them to count down from 3, but it hurt less than I expected and was totally bearable! Right after the injection, the shape was so pretty that I was shouting hallelujah, but on the way home I noticed myself gradually turning into a duck bill lol It's only day 1 now, but I'm so satisfied, and once the swelling goes down nicely I'll come back with another review,,, It really seems like for lip filler, finding a doctor whose aesthetic sense matches mine is the key!
