First surgery: silicone + septal cartilage -> my bulbous nose didn’t improve, and the nasal tip drooped, making it look like an arrow-shaped nose
Revision surgery: silicone + costal cartilage -> my bulbous nose improved without alar reduction, and a natural nasal-tip line was formed
First of all, after my first surgery, my condition got worse over time, so this time I waited a bit before writing a review. At first, when they said they would use costal cartilage, I worried, what if it looks too unnatural or flashy? But the hospital where I had surgery has a director who pursues a natural look, so even though costal cartilage was used, I’m relieved that the line came out natural. Not pointy, but rounded! Since it’s costal cartilage, the downside is that it feels hard when touched, but other than that, I’m generally satisfied.
