But the director said things like, ‘This won’t work, that won’t work, but if you only do buried double eyelids, it might be fine,’ so I thought, if I’m paying for cosmetic surgery and I can’t get the eye shape I want, then it’s better not to have surgery. Since she said nothing would work, I made a worried expression, and then she told me, “You need to think through the details again and organize them before coming back.” ... It was good that she was being precise about what wouldn’t work, but her attitude felt way too intimidating. It felt less like a consultation and more like being told off. But when I went to another plastic surgery clinic, they said they would do their best to match what I wanted, so I ended up deciding to have the surgery somewhere else
