I had a nose surgery consultation with Director Hong Jin-myeong. The director spoke softly and kindly, which I liked, but the consultation manager was a bit… This was my first surgery, and I’ve never even had sedation anesthesia before. When I asked the consultation manager whether an anesthesiologist would be on site, and what would happen if I woke up during surgery, she just mocked my question and said things like, “That has never happened even once so far. You got anesthesia, so why would you wake up? Why would you even think that first?” So I just wrapped things up roughly and left. I don’t remember anything else from the consultation, only the manager’s sneering tone remains in my memory.
