I went for a consultation because I heard this was a specialized hospital for lower eyelid fat repositioning. There are separate doctors for the under-eye area and the upper eye area (double eyelid surgery), and the chief doctor consulted carefully and was kind. They said fat grafting is not necessary, but that it would be effective if done, and they also showed me the expected shape for when only lower eyelid fat repositioning is done versus when fat grafting is added. I also asked about the outer corner and lower corner canthoplasty, but since the surgical area is the same, they said they wouldn’t do them together and would do the under-eye fat first before the outer or lower canthoplasty. They said doing it that way would count as a revision surgery for the canthoplasty. The cost was also reasonable. If you’re worried about lower eyelid fat repositioning, I recommend going for a consultation.
