After I remembered using this community as a reference before surgery, so I thought leaving a review too might help, so I'm writing! The photos were taken on day 8 First, I had surgery last Monday, a week ago, and time passed faster than I expected
For supplies, the place where I had surgery gave me a care kit(?), so I didn't separately buy things like a tongue cleaner, baby toothbrush, ice packs, or a compression band. What I prepared was pumpkin juice, New Care (this is seriously the tastiest and the best), and I bought porridge too, but making it at home saved money and tasted better. Oh, and paper cups and teaspoons are absolutely necessary! I also used toner pads very usefully because I couldn't wash my face for a weekㅠ
On the day of surgery I stayed hospitalized for one day, and the facilities were nice and it was a private room, so aside from my body feeling exhausted, it was okay. I was extremely thirsty, and I drank water 4 hours after surgery lol This was really hard And it hurt a lot, but honestly sleeping was the answer. I kept sleeping and waking, sleeping and waking, and when I woke up I just went back to sleep because it hurt ㅠㅠㅠ The next day they removed the blood drain, and it was really over in an instant, but I can't forget that feeling,, chilling and strange,, When the anesthetic gas was leaving after surgery or when I was getting antibiotics(?), I felt nauseated and like I would throw up, but thankfully I didn't. Phew^^ And the nurses and the director were super kind,,, I absolutely do not regret choosing this hospital. Since people might misunderstand me as a broker, I'll keep the hospital name private
After discharge, I came home and just slept, drank New Care, ate porridge, and rested well. They say walking a lot is good, but it rained too much until day 3, so I couldn't go out. I only walked back and forth at home
Day 3-4: it really hurts, but the swelling is also incredible I just ended up thinking, time, please pass quickly,, Is there even any point to drinking pumpkin juice and walking?
Day 5-6: it was fascinating to feel the swelling had gone down, but I was still swollen. My face was taped too, so I couldn't go anywhere except right in front of my house If the compression band felt too stuffy, I wore it and took it off on and off
Day 7 (sideburn stitches removed + facial taping removed) I wore a mask and briefly went around here and there Once the tape stuck to my face was gone, I felt like I could live lol When they removed the tape, seriously, without even 1 bit of exaggeration, it was the worst pain I experienced after surgery. Like enough to make me tear up? Seeing my face after definitely removing the tape made it feel real that I had surgery. Even though I was swollen, my cheekbones were gone and my jaw had become round. Good I wanted tteokbokki so badly that I cut it small and ate it lol sobㅠㅠ
Day 8: definitely, walking a lot made the swelling go down a lot In the evening I put on makeup and met a friend, and they said I looked much younger and it turned out well. Because of the intraoral stitches, eating is uncomfortable and smiling is hard, so I want to remove the intraoral stitches quickly too
The pain that remains now is from the intraoral stitches, so I'm taking painkillers every day ㅠ My cheekbones are okay, but my jaw is still swollen, so it hurts a bit when touched, but it's still bearable I'm worried because they say removing intraoral stitches really hurts
Still, I absolutely don't regret having surgery, and what I think now is that if you're thinking about facial contouring, doing it even a little younger is best Of course you should research well and decide carefully, and since there's a saying that cheap things are cheap for a reason, think it over if it's too inexpensive I've done my nose twice, but I don't think I could ever do facial contouring twice lol
