I went in for a consultation for double eyelid surgery. They recommended incisional surgery, epicanthoplasty, eye correction, and fat grafting. Out of the six places I visited, this was the first one that recommended fat grafting. They even showed me a paper and explained it, but it didn’t really resonate with me. When I asked another clinic, they said I do have relatively little eye fat, but I could still do double eyelid surgery, epicanthoplasty, and eye correction just fine, and that fat grafting wasn’t necessary.
