I went around for consultations at clinics because I want to get double eyelid surgery, and since I want to do it together with epicanthoplasty, I mainly visited clinics known for doing double eyelid surgery + epicanthoplasty well. I went to three places: Naturalism, Olo, and Kirin, and I had the consultations last week!!
<Naturalism> -No consultation fee, long wait time, maybe 30-40 minutes? I was originally looking mainly at private clinics, but the reviews here were good, so I went. As soon as I walked in, there were definitely a lot of people, and the doctor really explained things well. The front desk and consultant felt a bit stiff, so it felt kind of draining, but the doctor gave a good consultation, so yeah. He said surgery could be done with buried sutures too, but since my eyes are on the thicker side, incision would probably be better. Overall, the consultation was good, so I debated whether to put down a deposit, but I left without doing it for now.
<Kirin> -No consultation fee, about 10-minute wait It definitely seemed like they pursued the most glamorous line. I said I wanted a naturally glamorous style, but their basic preference itself is glamorous, so I think people may be divided on whether they like the lines? Also, the clinic itself was a little dark and had somewhat of a factory-like feel, and because there were many people waiting, I was kind of left sitting in the consultation room lol ㅠㅠ I was also recommended incision here, but after looking at my eyes once, they also recommended a forehead lift. Forehead lift...? Since I’m on the younger side, I had never even thought about lifting procedures, so I was a bit surprised.
<Olo> -No consultation fee, no wait First of all, the clinic atmosphere was the best. It was just cozy and quiet? The doctor was kind too, and maybe because it’s a private clinic, the consultation itself felt slow and thorough. So I think this was the consultation where I felt the most comfortable. While going around for consultations, there were a lot of questions I forgot to ask, but here the doctor told me a lot first, so I actually didn’t have anything to ask. I also liked that the AS period is unlimited. Anyway, I was recommended incision here too, and there was no pressure to put down a deposit, so I left comfortably.
Honestly, there were more disappointing parts than I expected, so I’m going to add more clinics and go again, but Olo was the best. So I’m going to look around more mainly at private clinics ㅠ I want to get surgery within October, but I don’t even have time to go for consultations, sigh...
