I had been a bit uncomfortable with putting foreign materials into my nose, but
they said the bridge would use donated dermis,
and the tip would be done using the soft tissue from my own nose.
But that was also the case at another hospital I talked to,
and for a bulbous nose, the excessive parts of the nose need to be removed,
so I also wondered whether it would really work to only make it higher.
Here, the director said they carefully dissect my soft tissue
and use it to raise the nasal tip, which sounded like an ingenious method.
Since even if it goes wrong it would still be my own tissue, I figured there wouldn't be a huge problem,
and among the hospitals I consulted, this one was the most appealing.
