Facial Surgery Reviews@face-review

I finally decided to give up on surgery

First of all, my concern was that when I smile, the tip of my chin protrudes like a crescent moon, almost like a protruding jaw, so I was considering chin tip surgery + square jaw surgery.

As of today, I’ve finished going to consultations at a total of 3 places, and I’m scheduled to have a consultation at ㅇㅍㅅㅌ next Saturday.

I finished consultations at ㅇㅇㄷ, ㅇㄹ, and ㅅㄷ. ㅇㅇㄷ is a dental clinic, so maybe that’s why they explained things in detail from many angles, including the nerve line and postoperative care, which was good, but it was too expensive.

At ㅇㄹ, I really felt like it was a factory-style clinic. But they said they use a sandwich osteotomy instead of a T-osteotomy, so I think I was leaning toward them. While looking into it, it seemed like sandwich osteotomy has been used the most classically for a long time, and from the surgical method, it seemed to be the approach that interferes with the nerves the least, so I think that’s why (purely my own speculation).

I went to ㅅㄷ because it was recommended the most, and as expected, it also felt factory-style, but the price came out much higher than I expected, and hmm.. they said they respected my opinion, but I felt the consultation was a little insincere. It just felt like, “This is what you should do for the best result!”

But lately, after looking at reviews here and there and researching side effects, I started wanting to give up.. I’m going to cancel my deposit at ㅇㄹ tomorrow. Honestly, the reviews are posted by people who paid at event prices, so they probably wouldn’t have written anything bad, and when I look at the side effects (chin tip tightness/lumpiness, tooth sensitivity, sagging, etc.), I realized I don’t have the confidence to live with those.

Anyway, people talk as if facial contouring is simple, but starting from the fact that the bone and muscles are dissected, it’s definitely not a small surgery. I hope everyone looks into it thoroughly and has a successful surgery!
