I had my double eyelid surgery here when I was in high school.. It wasn't even something I wanted; my mom had had it done by her friends and acquaintances at another place, and after hearing that it turned out well, she brought me there and had it done for me.. The surgery went wrong, so I ended up with a huge scar on my double eyelid... and the line became uneven like mismatched eyes. For years, I struggled a lot emotionally. .. I looked into revision surgery to get my double eyelid done again, but back then, everywhere I went said it was difficult.. so I gave up and lived with it. Even plastic surgery specialists would ask where I had it done.. I couldn't touch my eyes.. My mom cried a lot after getting me the double eyelid surgery.. she said she should have looked into it more carefully before deciding.. It's already been 11 years.. I'm used to it now and just getting by. These days I hear there are many hospitals that are good at revision double eyelid surgery, so I'm gathering the courage to go get another consultation. Don't trust places that people only praise too much. Rather than being swayed by people around you, I think the most important thing is choosing the place that suits you best. And I hope nothing like this happens to me or anyone else.
