I only saw the doctor briefly, and he was just blunt. He recommended the expensive option and gave off a ‘do whatever you want’ vibe. The manager was arrogant too. From the very first visit, it felt like a face that said, ‘Why did you come here?’ The price was 2 to 3 times higher than other places. And yet the reason I still wanted to do it was that the swelling and scars seemed very different from other places. The consultation fee didn’t feel wasteful. I got a long consultation and answers to all my questions. Still, I should have prepared more questions. Once I got home, more things I wanted to ask came up, and I also should have tried negotiating the price a bit before leaving
