This was the most unusual clinic among the places I visited for a breast surgery consultation. First, the quote was the highest—about 1.5 times higher. The clinic was somewhat old and had a neighborhood-internal-medicine feel, but the consultation was very thorough. They measured everything from my breasts to my waist and seemed to be trying to find a size that fit my body balance exactly. The doctor was extremely proud of their own surgical work. Maybe because of that, the consultation felt less professional and more like, “I know what I’m doing, so don’t worry.” The staff atmosphere also felt very relaxed.
