The hospital where I got my first plastic surgery right after turning 20! I asked a friend which hospital they went to, went in for a consultation knowing nothing, and had the surgery. I already had double eyelids, but I said I wanted the line to look more defined, so they said then we should do an upper canthoplasty too. I said I didn’t want an inner canthoplasty, and they said this was pulling upward so it wouldn’t matter. In the end, it turned into an inner canthoplasty anyway, my proportions were ruined, my impression became harsher, and I looked worse. My double eyelid height is different on each side, and one side has a bulging scar from the inner canthoplasty. I was under a lot of stress and eventually had reconstruction. I think they recommended it because I was young and didn’t know anything I resented them, but after the revision I’m just satisfied and living with it.
