I went for a consultation because of a side effect from overcorrection in ptosis correction. I went there because it was said to be an eye-specialty hospital, but honestly I guess I expected too much. Even though this was my first revision surgery, I knew that lower eyelid retraction surgery is extremely difficult, and the doctor didn’t seem all that confident either. I don’t know. It felt like they cared more about function than appearance, and I got the impression they weren’t really trying to take on extremely difficult surgeries. It was the first place I had booked and gone to, and I strongly felt like I had almost been turned away.
