I get it once or twice a year. I went because of the nasolabial folds, and at first they injected directly into the folds and also into the surrounding cheeks. Rather than completely improving the nasolabial folds, it got to the point where I didn’t really notice them, and the surrounding cheeks looked very natural and somehow fuller, which looked nice. My mom also said something seemed different and that it looked pretty. After that, they stopped putting it directly into the nasolabial folds and started placing it around them. I wanted the nasolabial folds, since they’re sunken lines, to be filled in, but the doctor explained the Sculptra principle and placed it around the wrinkles instead. Because of Sculptra’s nature, it didn’t solve the concern dramatically, but it did make it less bothersome.
