I had double eyelid surgery in 2016, but since I did it in another city, it was 부담스러워 to go all the way back there just to remove the stitches, so I got the stitches removed at Cheongdamjin, a plastic surgery clinic connected in Gwangju. I didn't know at the time, but when I checked my eyelid a week later, one stitch hadn't been removed. I pulled it out myself with tweezers, but there is still a black scar mark there. It's not enough to really bother me, but sometimes it catches my eye when I look in the mirror without makeup.
