I went for a consultation today about double eyelid surgery and canthoplasty. I’d only been worrying about surgery, but after going there in person and hearing them explain it, it helped me organize my thoughts and was definitely useful. The hospital was quiet and calm as soon as I walked in. The waiting room wasn’t chaotic, and they guided me with plenty of time, which I liked. The staff responded naturally, so it actually felt comfortable. The director checked my eyes and said they were a bit asymmetrical and that the front part was blocked, and explained that if I did double eyelids and medial canthoplasty together, my impression would become much clearer. They also said that lateral canthoplasty might not have much effect because of the shape. I liked that they spoke so clearly and honestly. They also looked at the line in detail and said an in-out style would suit me well, and that based on my image, something natural would suit me better than something too flashy. They shaped the line that way, and when I looked in the mirror, it fit perfectly, so I liked it. Overall, it felt like a place that explained things cautiously according to my eye condition, without pushing me. It gave me a sense of trust, and although I still plan to compare it with other hospitals, I thought it was pretty good for a first consultation.
