I had the silicone removed through an incision, and so far I haven’t noticed any contracture or anything unusual with my nose. I did develop a bit of scar tissue, but compared with other side effects, this seems relatively better. The swelling goes down a lot after about a month, and by 2-3 months it’s almost all gone. Of course, the nose is lower than before.
