Although this hospital definitely provided aftercare given the considerable cost, I still feel very disappointed, perhaps because the surgical approach and style did not suit me. I especially regret having a brow lift while I was still in my late twenties. I still wonder whether things would have been different if the doctor had discouraged me then. In the end, I have to live with the brow-lift scars for life, and because the excess skin was removed with the brow lift, my options are now very limited even if I want revision surgery. When I later consulted other hospitals, hearing various opinions about surgical methods after they saw the condition of my brow lift made me even more upset. My eye-opening correction was also too severe at the time; for a while I could not properly close my eyes, even to sleep, and my eyes stung and hurt every time I opened or closed them, so I eventually had that correction released as well. I had sought this place thinking it would be my final surgery, so even now it hurts a lot. I still wonder what would have happened if I had gone somewhere else.
