I used to be the type who would always avoid large hospitals, but somehow I ended up going around to consult at big hospitals, and this was one of them. In the end, I didn’t have surgery here, and after visiting for the consultation, it became the reason I decided I would never get plastic surgery at a large hospital again. But this is one of the most famous large hospitals, and Sungyesa is a place for sharing information, so I’m writing this in the hope that even one person reading my post might find it helpful. This place is famous for contouring, but I went for consultation on revision eye surgery and first-time nose surgery. The doctor who consulted with me was a relatively young-looking male doctor. He listened to my concerns very well, and our aesthetic sense matched to some extent, so we communicated well. That said, at that time there was a special situation where the before-and-after results had to be very obvious, so there was some encouragement to do various things to make it a bit more flashy. The problem was the staff… I finished the consultation well with the doctor, but no matter what, I’m still a patient and a customer paying money to have surgery, so of course I had no choice but to be careful about someone working on my face, right?? So I showed a lot of worry, but they treated me like I was being overly dramatic,, I do understand the clinic’s position, of course. After all, it’s a large hospital, and honestly even if it’s not me, there are lines of people waiting to get it done, and they accept a lot of foreigners too. For them, it’s fine as long as someone gets surgery and they make money. There’s nothing more annoying than taking in someone like me who seems to nitpick everything and then ending up with a complaint after doing the surgery. So to prevent that kind of thing in the first place, if they see signs like that, they cut you off right away.. basically, “We don’t need you. You’re fine not coming.” That’s exactly it. What I thought after finishing the consultation was this: If I had surgery at a hospital staffed by employees with that kind of mindset and then some side effect happened, would they really take proper responsibility for the problem? Well, everyone thinks differently and has different styles, so please just take what I wrote from my perspective as a reference. After all, among people who had their eyes, nose, contour, and breasts all redone at once at large hospitals, there are people who turned out well, so it really depends on the person. Still, for people like me who worry too much and overthink useless things, I recommend just going to a specialty clinic and feeling at ease.. I also recommend at least going for a consultation.
