I got the splint taken off today, and the doctor is always so kind that I feel reassured every time I go!! However, the aftercare and that kind of thing are only very basic, so that's a bit disappointing, but at least the surgery itself seems to have been done really naturally and well, so I'm looking forward to seeing how it looks once the swelling goes down.
