This was the place where they completely ruined the first double eyelid surgery I had been looking forward to as a 20th birthday milestone. It was already many years ago, so I don’t even remember the doctor’s face, but it was my first double eyelid surgery and I went in in the morning and came out in the dark evening. I never woke up during the surgery. That means I was asleep the whole time for a long stretch. People who’ve had some plastic surgery or know about it will probably roughly understand what I mean. Lucky or unlucky, I woke up with no health problems, but my eyes were completely ruined. While I was shaking with anxiety for months because of the sausage eyes, the only thing the hospital kept telling me was to wait until the swelling went down. Of course, even after 3 to 4 years, my eyes were still sausage-like The front canthoplasty left the Mongolian fold exactly as it was and only gave me the effect of red flesh showing. Before surgery, I clearly told the doctor that I wanted a thin and natural line, but after ending up with burdensome sausage eyes, the answer I got from the doctor in charge was, “That line suits your face well.” I spent the most precious early 20s going through severe emotional distress for years, and in the end I had to get revision surgery and live with eyes that were at least somewhat better. Just seeing this hospital’s ads makes me have a breakdown. It was a long time ago, but I still can’t forget it^^
