The head doctor’s consultation was what I liked best.. I’ve only consulted at two places so far, but I could feel that he has thought a lot about breast surgery, whether from a clinical side or from a research side. He also has a lot of surgical experience, so I guess that’s why he can speak so confidently.. He explained his own surgical plan in very detailed terms, talked about what should be placed where according to his own judgment and preferred brand and why, and kept checking whether I had questions or whether I understood. What I learned for the first time while consulting with the doctor, 1. The fundamental reason for deciding between a flat type and a projected type is that the breast pocket size is already determined, and when you try to insert more cc while matching that size, it becomes a projected type. Example) If the breast pocket width is 11 cm -> there is a fixed cc amount for an implant diameter of 11 cm. If you want to go higher in cc than that, you enlarge it into a projected type. 2. For revision surgery, they open through the same scar (the surgical opening becomes thicker), and when closing, they stitch a little longer with BioBond, so they also do scar reconstruction on the surgical site. There really was no scar at all. Of course, maybe he only showed those kinds of photos, but if inflammation is managed well, it truly looks like nothing more than a wrinkle. 3. The doctor likes implants with a firm, springy consistency.. My preference was Sebbin Purity (very floppy, and if you cover it with a T-shirt and touch it, it feels almost like touching my own flesh), but I don’t think the doctor even carries that one. Anyway, I liked the soft Sebbin type, and it felt like I got a good consultation with a firm conviction that something like Motiva, which feels like a bouncy ball, would end up feeling separate from my body. The prices were: Sebbin 800, Mentor 1,100, Motiva 1,300. That’s the event price.
