About 10 years ago I had nose surgery with Gore-Tex + septal cartilage, and they did a really nice job. Now a lot of time has passed and I'm considering revision surgery because my skin has gotten thinner, but back then I was very happy with the result. At the time, they explained both the advantages and disadvantages of Gore-Tex very well before the surgery. First of all, the doctor treated patients sincerely rather than just trying to make money, and the consultation was also very kind and detailed.
