Eye Surgery review at Hanmi (한미) · 2021-12-19

I went for a consultation at Hanmi, which is famous for lower eyelid fat repositioning, or rather what they call lower eyelid fat transfer. Because a slot opened up suddenly, I was able to meet them relatively quickly without a long wait. The consultation costs 10,000 won, and at the counter there were the consultation manager, a nurse I wasn’t sure about, a person who seemed to have had a lot of cosmetic work done, and one more person. But the staff’s service attitude was really sharp and unpleasant. The interior had a wood-style design that felt a bit old-fashioned, but overall it was clean and used warm lighting, so it didn’t feel uncomfortable or off-putting at all; it was comfortable. When I saw the doctor, I got the impression that he pays attention to customer service. The staff seemed young, and there didn’t seem to be any particularly mature person there, and because the consultation manager was young and mechanically read out the necessary points, my impression of the place dropped somewhat. From the perspective of long-term customer service, I felt that training was needed, or that the staff should be renewed overall. If a clinic wants to do better and spread a good image, human connection matters even more than skill. I didn’t get the feeling that they brought out the doctor’s strengths to the fullest. (After all, we live with people, clash with people, and solve people’s difficulties.) My impression of the doctor was that he likes naturalness and natural-looking eyes. (What I felt during the conversation was that he seemed to be fed up from past friction with people who had done things a little too artificially, and he didn’t seem to want anything too burdensome.) By showing me various photos, I could gauge the doctor’s aesthetic philosophy, and when it came to surgery, at least the result felt "definitely trustworthy." Among the well-known places for under-eye procedures, there seem to be places like Obje, Hanmi, First, Oskin, and Idea. Among them, this one held a somewhat ambiguous position. My main job is analysis, so I’d like to write more detail, but since this is in the area of consulting, I’ll stop here. For people in their 40s and older, I think the need will be quite active, and I agree with that. If you’re interested in a youthful look in the lower eyelid area, it seems like it should be on your list and worth visiting for a consultation.
