The consultation with the main director was okay, but the consultation with the manager and the orthodontic director was a bit disappointing. First, unlike other hospitals, they didn’t tell me the exact jaw surgery cost up front, and I had to ask twice before they gave me a precise answer. It felt like they were trying not to let me leave until I paid, and there was way too much unnecessary consultation. And to see the director, I was told I would need to get a CT scan and a detailed exam, which would cost 200,000 won. It felt like I was being taken advantage of. I went because it was famous, but the aggressive sales approach actually made me lose trust. The surgery cost is also higher than at other hospitals, so I’m planning to do it somewhere else.
