I prefer a doctor with a strong point of view, and this is exactly that kind of case. They said what could not be done could not be done, and after explaining their opinion, they spoke in a way that felt like the patient's choice and responsibility from there on. In my case, that style of consultation suited me. It's one of the leading candidate clinics for surgery. That said, the way the consultation was wrapped up felt a bit rushed, which was a minus point.
