I remember asking whether same-day consultation and same-day surgery were possible when I lived in the provinces and then having the surgery. At the time, there were several doctors, and I was told that choosing the chief doctor would cost extra and require waiting about 3 hours, so I went ahead with the chief doctor that same day. I did not need a separate stitch removal appointment, and about 5 years later now, it seems the sutures have broken and the area has risen again. The outer corner of the eye is slightly open where the small incision was made. For postoperative swelling, it feels like it took about 6 months for the puffiness around the aegyo-sal to become natural. Still, I am satisfied because my eyes definitely look bigger than before.
