Another acquaintance had double-eyelid surgery through a director’s acquaintance. Even though they went through a referral, there wasn’t much of a price discount, and in fact the people who came through events seemed to be getting the surgery more cheaply. (spoke with a guardian in the waiting room) Looking at the acquaintance who had the surgery, even after ptosis correction, their eyelid-opening strength seems weak. It makes me wonder if they really needed to do it here.
