Last year once, and once this year, I got injections, but both times I ended up with dimples in my left cheek. That never happened when I got injections elsewhere. When they inject here, the patient lies down and the doctor sits on the right or left. Then, when they inject the opposite side of the face...... instead of moving over and sitting on the other side..... they make the patient turn their head all the way around. In the end, the right cheek is injected while looking at the ceiling, and the left cheek is injected with the head turned all the way toward the doctor, with the skin pulled tight. I don't know if that's the cause of the dimples, but... either way, it doesn't seem like the medicine is spreading symmetrically between left and right.
