I remember waiting an incredibly long time just to get a consultation. I think I waited nearly two hours. I had a consultation with Director Hong, and he was kind. I remember him seeming very confident. After meeting the doctor, I even paid the deposit because I thought I might do it here. But because it was a revision surgery (sausage eyes), I was nervous and asked for another consultation and went back. The day I went, I canceled my reservation after seeing how the consultation coordinator behaved. I asked what would happen if things went wrong and whether there would be after-service, and after that, when they gave me some kind of surgery consent form? (It wasn’t the actual surgery day, it was a re-consultation day, so I can’t remember exactly what kind), I said I would not sign it today, take it home, read it carefully, and submit it on the day of surgery. Then they said, ‘Why are you doing that? You can’t take it home.’ So I asked for a copy, and as they walked out with the documents, they said, ‘You should trust people,’ and left. As someone who had already failed at another hospital once, seeing that kind of attitude made me feel there was no reason to do it here, so I canceled right away. I don’t know if that coordinator is still there. I’ve had many consultations, but the attitude was memorable.
