I had buried double eyelid surgery about 8 years ago, and also a little inner corner correction. But not even a month after the surgery, the eyes were badly uneven, and one side of the ptosis correction didn’t work at allㅡㅡ When I complained that it seemed wrong, they said they had to watch it for six months, that the swelling would go down and it would settle into place. No matter how I looked at it, it was not an eye that would settle, but they said revision surgery was only possible after six months anyway, so... I was a student at the time, and it overlapped with interview season, so I remember being so annoyed. They said they would do the revision as soon as we saw each other after six months, but guess what... The eye with the issue, the eye-opening correction, loosened right back up just a few months later, and about 4 years after the double eyelid surgery, the other side of the double fold also loosened by about half. I regret spending money on revision surgery instead of finding a proper clinic from the start. Now I’m preparing for marriage and looking into revision surgery because I want to leave good wedding photos. Make sure you decide carefully on your first surgery.
