Eye Surgery review at Aioyu (아이오유) · 2022-07-25

I’m two weeks out from my double eyelid revision surgery. Before surgery, my eyes were not that unsatisfying, but because of a slight scar and long eyes, I wanted round, big eyes, so I agonized over it for years before getting the surgery. The reason I chose this hospital was because there was almost no scar after surgery. I decided that even if the double eyelid fold was small, I could still get big eyes after seeing photos of people whose eyes became big with little scarring. At the first consultation, I felt they were rather indifferent, but at the second consultation on the surgery day, they were very kind. When I showed them the eyes I wanted, they said it was possible, and since they promised AS within a year, I trusted the confident director and had the surgery. They removed the stitches on day 5 and I went back on day 12 for a follow-up. When I said they were uneven, they said they would match over time. When I said the scar tissue at the inner corner was severe and it stung and burned, they again said it would disappear with time. When I said the lower canthoplasty was uneven too, they said if they lowered it more I’d look like I was crying. The kind attitude from before surgery is gone. They seem annoyed and keep saying time will make everything match and disappear. The swelling is definitely less than at other hospitals, though. I think I looked better before surgery sigh
