They did not separately recommend eyelid correction or canthoplasty, and only recommended what was necessary for my current eye condition! They said if it is made too high, it becomes sausage eyes, so it is better to do it at an appropriate level, and I went with a moderate crease. Before surgery, I remember spending a really long time designing the crease.. After surgery, I usually bruise very badly, but even then... the bruising and such were gone in about three days..? As soon as the stitches were removed, the swelling went down quickly, so it seemed to heal fast even though it was an incision. When I went to have the stitches removed, they were very attentive to my swelling being severe, even more than I was(?), and I was a little touched. The double eyelids seem to have turned out symmetrical, and my eyes were originally asymmetrical, so well... still, I do think I look better with the surgery!
