Originally I only wanted masseter Botox, but after getting Botox for a long time, the muscle right in front of my ear had enlarged as a compensatory effect. I mentioned this during the consultation and asked them to improve it, and they said I could just get Botox there, and that they would write 'pre-ear Botx' on the chart and I only needed to pay the salivary gland Botox price. But when I actually met the doctor to get the procedure, he said this was an area where Botx couldn't be injected, and asked who told me to get it there. When I said I had been told during the consultation to get it there, the manager said a bunch of things and then said they'd just give it as a free service. But I had already paid for it, so I left after getting salivary gland plus masseter Botox feeling like I had somehow lost out
