Eye Surgery review at Reateu (레아트) · Double eyelid with epicanthoplasty · 2019-01-02

I had double eyelid surgery and front canthoplasty here, and I think the doctor prefers natural-looking double eyelids and canthoplasty. At the first consultation, after seeing the photo I brought, they said it was fine and that they could make it as thick as I wanted, so I decided to have the surgery. We were going to do the detailed check on the day of surgery, and I was looking forward to getting the final line consultation that day, but it just ended with three dots being marked?? It was not the detailed consultation I wanted, so my trust went down. And the line they marked looked barely different from my original double-eyelid line. So after they drew the points and I went to get photographed before surgery, I told the staff it seemed too low and that it wasn’t the thickness I originally wanted, and they called the doctor back so we could talk again. Then the doctor said that on my eyes, if it’s any thicker than that, it’s likely to become sausage-like, and added that with their current technique that’s how it is. I remember it clearly. Well, whatever they said, what could I do? I had already made up my mind to have surgery, paid, postponed my schedule, and came here for the operation. So I had the surgery, and the result is not satisfying. Of course, it wasn’t a disaster. It’s so natural that there are people who can’t even tell I had double-eyelid surgery In one way, I guess that’s a good thing. The double eyelids on both eyes are a little uneven, but what can you do, people’s eyes naturally differ in size, so let’s be generous there. The problem is the canthoplasty The Mongolian fold wasn’t opened up in a pretty way. When I clearly brought photos and asked them to make it look like there was no fold, they acted like they would do it, but after surgery the doctor said it was because they pursued a natural look... Well, sure~ If you’re going to have surgery here, it seems best for people who really want extremely natural-looking eyes. I’ll say it again: it wasn’t a disaster. It just didn’t turn out the way I wanted. That’s all. For reference, my photo wasn’t posted on this doctor’s blog Maybe because the front canthoplasty didn’t turn out pretty,.. I’m considering revision front canthoplasty~
