I got natural adhesion and canthoplasty after a friend got candy canthoplasty, and I had a consultation. These days double eyelid surgery is so common that honestly I think it's all the same place, and the doctors' skill levels are all about the same too. Still, what I remember most is that at another hospital they said my eyes were the kind that would lose the fold easily and suggested incision surgery, but here they said if I did incision surgery, revision would be hard if it really did loosen, and my eyes weren't even the kind that would loosen like that. They said a little ptosis correction would be enough instead. But honestly, I don't even know whether they did ptosis correction or not.. Anyway, from what I understand, candy canthoplasty is different from regular canthoplasty in that there is no incision and they make an opening and pull it, and maybe that's why I've been doing fine without side effects or discomfort. Of course there is some angling, but it doesn't really bother me. If you looked in the mirror all day, maybe it would bother you haha
