I arrived about 30 minutes earlier than my scheduled time, and there were already some people there, so I think I got in a little earlier than my appointment time. The clinic's interior felt more cozy overall rather than modern and sleek, which I actually preferred. After I went in and sat down, the director came in soon after, and generally they seemed easygoing and kind. They were also very confident. They said they don't do aftercare, basically as if there has never been a need for it, and I remember them saying that the direction each eye needs to go is already set. Honestly, I'm a scaredy-cat, so even if the chance of a complication is small, I'd rather be told about it and have them be careful. The fact that there is no aftercare at all doesn't fully reassure me... Still, considering the director's experience and what people around me have said, I don't doubt their skill. I had printed out the things I wanted to say at the consultation and showed them, and although they didn't go through it very thoroughly, I still liked that they skimmed it and answered even lightly. I had been worried because another clinic had diagnosed me with ptosis, but Director Yeom Wonseok said I don't have ptosis. Instead, he emphasized that I use my eyebrows a lot, so after surgery my image could end up looking quite different from what I imagined. Still, he said about one-third of people who come for consultations don't get the effect of surgery, but that I might, and that my case is not difficult, which reassured me. For double eyelid surgery, they showed me both the line they recommend and what it would look like if it were made higher or lower on both eyes. Later, they even had me take off my mask so I could look at the whole face. The recommended line wasn't bad, but maybe because I personally feel that double eyelids don't suit me, I liked the predicted result from browpexy more. They said browpexy would be closer to the functional improvement I want, so the consultation ended with a simpler conclusion than I expected, and later, while talking with the manager, I learned that the original bony positions of both eyebrows would remain the same even after surgery. That was obvious, but it was something I hadn't thought about, so I appreciated them pointing it out.
