Director Kim Ho-gil explained everything very kindly. It was good that he took a long time and explained the surgical method in detail, even drawing pictures. But he seemed too focused on matching the standard pretty proportions rather than each person's individuality.. I liked the nose consultation, but in the eye consultation he said my eyes are smaller than average, so he would open them as much as possible on the inner, outer, and lower sides. I'm the type who values naturalness the most, so I asked, wouldn't that look unnatural? He said my eyes aren't the kind that can get that much bigger, so it would be fine. I said I don't want huge eyes, just a little more definition from my small eyes, but he seemed like someone very set on what he wanted.. The consultation was very kind and the explanation was excellent, but our aesthetic preferences seem different.
