Kim H.S. <Clinic atmosphere> I went in for a consultation right after the clinic opened. The clinic is darker than I expected lol Overall, it has a deep gray tone and not-very-bright lighting I visited right after the clinic opened in the morning, and since it was mid-January, there were not as many people as I expected. (I think people who were going in for surgery probably booked from around October and had surgery as soon as January started.) Everyone seemed to have come with a guardian, but I think only about 4 or 5 patients came by themselves. I arrived earlier than my appointment time, and after waiting about 5 minutes I was seen right away. I went in, filled out my personal information, answered how I found the clinic and my expected cost, filled out a survey about past surgeries and medications, and waited for consultation. <Staff> The overall atmosphere was one of moving things quickly and efficiently. Some staff were kind, and some were a bit sharp. The person who took eye photos.. haha The person who guided me to the doctor consultation made me think they were angry. I misheard something, and the atmosphere was intimidating.. lol <Consultation manager> Looked like a celebrity. Their tone was very gentle and they were kind, so I liked that. Before seeing the doctor, they asked whether I had consulted at other clinics. (For people who had not had consultations, they explain the types of double eyelids and the surgical methods.) If you have reference photos, you can show them at that time, and if you tell them the line you want, canthal widening, the surgical method, and the overall vibe, they describe it and pass it on to the doctor. After the doctor consultation, they explain the price, anesthesia method, aftercare, A/S, and service. General questions were handled after the doctor consultation. (They kept asking before the doctor consultation whether I had any questions, but whenever I asked, they said they would answer after the doctor consultation...) They spoke extremely quickly, in a very flowing way. They kept asking whether I had any questions, but the consultation moves really fast, so if you have anything you are worried about, I recommend writing it down in advance or memorizing it. Seriously lol, it was fast. <Doctor consultation> If you wait about 5 minutes after going into the consultation room, the doctor comes in. The total consultation time was around 10 minutes. They were much kinder than I expected. Both the consultation manager and the doctor were very kind, but they moved through everything very quickly. (If you lose the thread, you miss everything they are saying...) Once you go in, they look at your eye photos and talk about the overall eye impression, and for the line, they separate it into natural and glamorous styles and recommend the surgical method for each. For me, they said that if I wanted a natural line, buried sutures would be enough, and for a very glamorous line I would need incisional surgery plus ptosis correction. (They said that if the line becomes much higher, stronger support is needed to hold that line, so in the case of incisional surgery, ptosis correction is necessary.) However, if the line becomes higher, they said the eye skin itself is on the thick side, so the fat would protrude bulgily. (If it were fat, you could remove the fat, but they said there is no fat at all and the eye skin itself is thick, so there is nothing to be done...) I have double eyelids, but the inner part of the line was hidden, which made my impression look harsh, and they caught that immediately from the eye photos. They said that I was unconsciously using my brow muscles to open my eyes so that the double-eyelid line near the inner corner would not be hidden, but since I do have the strength to open my eyes, ptosis correction is not needed. (I settled on a natural line right away and was satisfied, so I did not even consider a glamorous line!) If I wanted the double-eyelid line to be clearly visible right from the start of the eye, I could do upper canthoplasty, but that is optional, so they said I could decide while setting the line and looking at the eyes. They said my eyes are already pretty, so they would not recommend changing them too much (they are not pretty) and that simply making the double-eyelid line visible from the inner start of the eye would make the sharp impression much better. I set the line as a natural one, and it seems the actual line will be decided on the day of surgery. I tried setting the line, but without deciding anything, I just tried setting the line itself lolllllllll They set the line in four stages. (basic line, basic line + upper canthoplasty, slightly higher line, slightly higher line + upper canthoplasty) Rather than the doctor driving the consultation themselves, they present as many options as possible (multiple surgical methods) and the patient chooses while setting the line. If you go for a consultation here, I think you should go after thinking about the line and image you want. If you go in expecting the doctor to just handle everything for you, the consultation itself will probably be difficult.. lol T_T The style is to open up as many directions as possible and choose from them. It feels like a tasting session,,,,,,,,,, They set up the basic framework, look at the vibe, and then the actual line is set on the day of surgery. The director also kept asking whether I had anything else I was curious about or any questions! <Price> For buried sutures + upper canthoplasty, it was around 1.8 million won (I do not remember exactly, but I think it was in the high 1.7 million to low 1.8 million range!) It included swelling laser and scar injections. For buried-suture double eyelids, Director Kim and Director Do were 1.2 million. The other directors were priced in the 0.6 million and 0.8 million ranges. Cash and card prices seem to be the same. <Aftercare, A/S> If you do canthal widening, you need to visit the clinic within 4 to 6 days to have the stitches removed, and then return at 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year to check the condition. They said they would do line correction for free within 1 year. <Deposit (90,000 won)> There was no pressure. If the price feels burdensome, there are many other clinics near Gangnam Station that do surgery at lower prices, and there are other non-representative doctors too, so they said I did not need to decide now and could take their card and contact them after thinking it over.
