I went in for a consultation about revision rhinoplasty. It was my first revision. Because I had used mesh and Medpor, I was quoted for autologous costal cartilage. The consultation was good. He felt like a warm uncle. However, he did not explain in detail how he would specifically shape the nose using a custom implant. I was able to hear a professional explanation too, so overall I was satisfied. Still, it felt like with revision surgery he prefers safety and conservatism rather than making major changes to the shape.
