I went for a consultation and felt really bad.. Honestly, my nose is a difficult one to begin with.. But they kept nitpicking my words and, in one way or another, kept circling back to how difficult it is, saying I’d need multiple surgeries and that they didn’t want to do it.. They said they couldn’t handle the way patients would act differently after surgery, and whenever I asked, ‘Will this part improve?’ they were so scary, like they were asking why I was even bringing that up.. Honestly, if it means multiple revisions, isn’t a hospital exactly where you go hoping to grasp at even a straw? It seemed like they only wanted to operate on easy noses.. I can see why their after-surgery reviews are good.. They tend to stick to easy noses, and if you upset them, question them, or contradict them, they become merciless. I think it was right not to do it here. Honestly, I had high hopes before going, and I knew the doctor wasn’t exactly known for being kind, but.. after multiple revisions my body and mind were in shambles.. they don’t seem to treat patients warmly.. Skill matters, of course, but I don’t think they’re the type who communicates well with patients even after surgery.. I ended up tearing up on the way home.. Anyway, the consultation was done.
